Hi, I'm Robert Gorak, the indie developer behind tradicted. Fifteen years in IT, from BMW to Airbus Defence and Space, before leaving corporate to build tools that help traders learn faster.
The Problem I Needed to Solve
Eight years ago, I opened a demo account to practice trading. Standard advice: learn on demo before risking real money.
The problem was waiting.
I'd sit there staring at charts, waiting for setups to form. Sometimes it took hours. Sometimes days. Sometimes weeks, depending on the timeframe.
I wanted every setup to appear in 2 seconds instead of 2 days.

My Background
Fifteen years in IT, starting with internships at BMW, then managing IT infrastructure at Airbus Defence and Space. I wanted to build my own products.
In November 2024, I left corporate to bootstrap. tradicted is my first app, built solo with Flutter, Firebase and Google Cloud.
I split my time between trading, building tradicted and developing financial indicators for TradingView. My trend and compression indicator was offered £1 million. I kept it accessible to everyone.

I'm self-taught, developer and trader both. tradicted is messy behind the scenes. It works and it solves a problem I had. I hope it solves yours too.
